1. Reviewer Responsibilities
As a reviewer, you are expected to:
- Deliver objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest and, if necessary, decline the assignment to ensure impartiality.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing clarity, rigor, and relevance.
- Offer your recommendations regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of submissions.
2. Review Timeline
- Respond to the Review Invitation within 3 business days to confirm your acceptance of the assignment.
- Submit Review within 7-14 days of acceptance to ensure timely processing of the papers.
3. Review Criteria
- Originality: Assess whether the research is innovative and offers significant value to justify publication.
- Methodology: Verify that the methods are robust and thoroughly described in the paper.
- Structure & Clarity: Evaluate whether the paper is clearly articulated and logically organized.
- References: Ensure that sources are current, relevant, and properly cited.
- Ethics: Identify any potential issues related to plagiarism or misconduct by the author(s).
4. Writing Your Review
Structure your review effectively by following this format:
- Summary: Review the manuscript’s purpose and findings.
- Major Comments: Highlight critical flaws or essential improvements needed to improve the manuscript.
- Minor Comments: Identify typographical errors, unclear passages, or minor inaccuracies in the text.
- Recommendation: Clearly state final recommendation based on your overall evaluation of the paper: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject (the paper).
5. Confidentiality
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. All manuscripts and related information must remain confidential and should not be shared or used outside the review process.
6. Conflicts of Interest
It is imperative to inform the editorial team of any personal, academic, or financial conflicts of interest that may compromise your objectivity.
